Material Handler

NYCOA seeks a motivated and industrious Material Handler to join their team in Manchester, New Hampshire
. Material Handlers are instrumental in ensuring quality of the product, as well as optimal machine and facility performance. As a Material Handler, you will load and move materials throughout the facility using a forklift and other devices.

• Starting wage of $20.25 per hour.

• Paid PTO and holidays.
• Day shift schedule:
  Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm with occasional weekends.

• Compile orders on a pallet and shrink wrap.
• Reload plastic wrap on spindle of shrink wrap machine.
• Move completed pallets to shipping area.
• Move raw materials to batching area.
• Follow good housekeeping procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Execute written instructions/procedures.
• Record required data accurately and on a timely basis.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work in a respectful, team-oriented environment.
• Flexible and willing to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school and/or prior work experience in manufacturing or directly related field preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Able to lift 55 pounds, stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, withstand repetitive movement and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to operate motorized forklift and hand lift.
• Excellent communication skills.
