Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator

As a SMT Machine Operator (for electronic assembly), you will tend to the machine by quickly and efficiently loading/replenishing feeders with reels of components, entering programs into automated placement machinery, and prepping for the next build with the primary goal being to maximize machine productive time.

• Proficient in the setup and operation of SMT equipment (Fuji, Mydata), SMT screen printers, automatic and semi‑automatic pick‑and‑place systems and reflow ovens.
Component identification knowledge, including feeder sizes and pitches.
• Ability to understand and implement SMT operations per drawings and assembly procedures.
• Attention to detail in the preparation for and SMT assembly of complex PCBs.
• Good communication skills.

• Previous experience as an SMT Operator in electronic manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Surface Mount Technology processes and equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
