Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team in Manchester, NH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our manufacturing processes and ensuring precision in our machining operations. If you have a passion for programming and a knack for manufacturing engineering, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Program Multi-axis CNC machines using Mastercam to produce high-precision components.
- Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes to improve productivity and quality.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to specifications and tolerances (primarily Fanuc controllers).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Support sales by producing runtime, setup, and tooling estimates for quoting
- Train and mentor machinists and operators on best practices and safety protocols.
- Positive attitude, team orientated with strong communication skills
- 7-10 Years experience as a CNC Programmer (mastercam, g-code, m-code)
- Proven multi-axis experience as a Machinist in a aerospace/defense manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
You should be proficient in:
- GD&T
- Troubleshooting Skills
- CNC Programming
- Machine Setups for Production Runs
Machines & technologies you'll use:
- CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc)
- CAM Software (Mastercam)
- CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (Fanuc, Matsuura)
