Job SummaryProvide comprehensive nursing care in a complex, high‑acuity setting. Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety, quality, and patient‑centered outcomes. Serve as a resource on clinical procedures and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal results.
Responsibilities- Assess physical and psychosocial status of patients through interviews, exams, and data review.
- Identify potential crisis situations and intervene pre‑emptively.
- Reassess patient status at established intervals.
- Analyze data to identify nursing diagnoses and care problems.
- Communicate patient status and needs to multidisciplinary team members.
- Develop, update, and monitor individualized care plans.
- Act as a resource in the application and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Execute technical skills and clinical procedures safely and competently.
- Coordinate and document diagnostic and therapeutic orders, ensuring accuracy in the electronic medical record.
- Anticipate and manage complications of disease progression and invasive procedures.
- Maintain a calm, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
- Adhere to all safety, organizational, and ethical standards (ANA Code of Ethics).
- Implement core performance measures and provide feedback on quality improvement initiatives.
- Identify trends and system resources that impact outcomes and communicate new or revised policies when needed.
- Current registered nurse license in the State of NH.
- BLS certification.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
- Specialty certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 9 months of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
