Pay Range: $47.30 – $65.20/hour (based on experience)
Estimated Annual: $98,000 – $135,000

Join a leading acute care hospital in Southern New Hampshire as an RN Manager of the Medical-Surgical Unit. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a 29-bed unit focused on providing exceptional, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate is a collaborative nurse leader with a strong med-surg or telemetry background and a commitment to patient safety, staff development, and quality outcomes.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations including scheduling, patient flow, and rounding
- Supervise and evaluate clinical staff, conducting performance reviews and development plans
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, hospital, and nursing standards
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
- Monitor quality metrics, audits, and patient satisfaction
- Assist with departmental budgeting and resource management
- Support continuous improvement through evidence-based practice and staff education
Required:
- Active RN license (NH or Compact)
- 1–3 years of recent acute care leadership experience in a Med-Surg or Telemetry unit
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience managing teams in a 20+ bed acute unit
- Demonstrated success in quality improvement and staff engagement initiatives
- Competitive base pay up to $65.20/hr
