- The LPN Nursing Supervisor supports the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction during a designated shift.
- This individual leads, guides and directs the clinical operations, care delivery model of the nursing units including ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.
- The LPN Nursing Supervisor serves as a clinical operational liaison between the units and the Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing and Unit Managers.
- Collaborates with the DON to maintain adequate nursing coverage to provide safe nursing care for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Participates in the interview process for nursing vacancies and assesses the performance of existing employees.
- Identifies educational needs of the staff and communicates needs to the Nurse Practice Educator (NPE) so they can be addressed.
- Ensures patient care assignments are consistent with staff competencies, scope of practice and the needs of the patients.
- Supports the DON in employing a strong Quality Improvement process for the nursing department.
- Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
- Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs and Behavioral Centers; ALFs/ILFs as required by State).

Posted Salary RangeUSD $36.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
