Responsibilities- Clinical Management Ensure department functioning in accordance with regulatory agencies, state statutes, and practice standards, i.e., DNV, TJC, CMS, HIPAA and ACR
- Collaborate with Nursing Leadership as needed to develop, implement, and monitor departmental educational programs
- Operations Management Foster participation in the development and implementation of annual departmental goals and objectives, which are consistent with those of Elliot Health System and in collaboration with organizational leadership, Directors, Managers, Supervisors and other members of the health care team
- Participate and/or support in the development of business and marketing plans
- Human Resources Management In conjunction with Human Resources Department, interviews and selects candidates for employment. Initiates and approves personnel activities including, but not limited to hiring, transferring, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and terminating, with the support of the Director as needed
- Consistent with the principles of TeamSTEPPS, fosters positive interdisciplinary communications and teamwork. In collaboration with leadership, establishes and communicates performance expectations and assist with development of professional goals of each staff member. Monitors and evaluates staff performance. Conducts timely in-the moment coaching and annual performance evaluations.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program, Required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree in nursing, Required
- Current registration in the State of New Hampshire as a Registered Nurse, Required
- Life support authorization (BLS) required within six (6) months of hire
- Professional Specialty Certification required within six (6) months of hire
- A minimum of three (3) years of recent clinical experience, Required
