The Kitchen Support Staff will micresponsible for dishwashing, maintaining sanitation in the kitchen, floors, waste barrels, food storage areas, and the dishwashing station in compliance with licensing regulations. This position assists in receiving, food prep, program delivery, and other kitchen needs as directed by a Supervisorдарды or Director.

1st shift:
Saturday–Wednesday, 9:30 am – 6:00 pm

• Ensure the highest standards of sanitation, food safety, and infection control are met; adhere to proper processes and procedures in dishwashing (manually and mechanically) and general sanitation of the kitchen and food storage areas.
• Receive deliveries and orders, reconcile invoices, and put product away.
• Attend related training as needed.
• Operate and clean a variety of specialized food service equipment, e.g., coffee maker, automatic dishwasher, commercial oven and Nuggets, meat slicer, etc.
• Report any safety, sanitary, or other concerns to the Supervisor or Director as soon as possible.
• Provide direction as necessary to volunteers – ensure activities adhere to set processes and procedures, including food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness.
• Provide courteous service to all participants, demonstrating empathy and a desire to help others.
• Ensure adherence to safety attire requirements, including proper footwear, hair nets, and other requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimal work experience required.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs.
