This technician role supports the installation, maintenance, and servicing of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for commercial customers.

• Assist with on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair and calibration after installation.
• Use technical abilities to maintain systems.
• Work in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Work safely and follow all safety measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Flexibility to work overtime, on-call and weekends is required.

• High School diploma or GED
• HVAC Trade school graduate preferred with strong attendance
• 1+ year in mechanical support role; some hands-on HVAC experience preferred
• EPA Certification - Type I & II or Universal preferred
• NATE certification a plus
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Ability to climb ladders
• Moderate lifting up to 90 pounds
• Technical aptitude to perform maintenance, service, and troubleshoot equipment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork
• Ability to work independently and self-schedule
• Self-motivated to complete tasks within time constraints
• Driven to succeed with minimal supervision
• Periodically on call for service coverage
• Willingness to relocate within the country after training
• Local travel may be required

Technicians install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial rooftop HVAC units. Must be able to safely:

• Climb ladders and access rooftops
• Work at heights
• Load/unload tools and equipment from a work van
• Lift up to 75 lbs occasionally; overhead lifting up to 25 lbs
• Push/pull wheeled carts up to 150 lbs
• Extend reach overhead in repetitive motion
• Climb to roof height

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The salary range is $33,000 – $41,000 annually, depending on geography, tenure, performance, skills, education, and experience. Overtime is available where permitted by law.
