We are seeking talented, experienced Software Engineering Leads (aka SWELs, Software Managers, Software Cost Account Managers (CAMs)) to help us create the world's most advanced solutions in the area such as Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Aircraft Protection, Radar Warning and Electronic Attack for our defense related customers. Our products provide critical mission capabilities to address the ever-evolving challenges and threats to our nation's security and the war fighter.

The selected candidate will provide technical leadership, project management, and guidance for the software engineering development activities. This position is customer facing and will provide Software Project Management reporting, documentation, and updates to both Program Management and the Software Discipline. We will provide you opportunities to learn, leverage our current technologies, incorporate new technologies, and be a leader in our engineering organization.

The responsibilities of this position include:
* Technical execution of all phases of software development from requirements to test and integration
* Leading a software team in an Agile development environment
* Program planning including Integrated Master Schedule and budget development
* Management of the software effort for cost and schedule (including Cost Account Manager responsibilities)
* Working with the program team including program management, engineering management and other disciplines to ensure success
* Performing estimates and participating in proposals for future business
* Participating in staffing and hiring decisions Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
* Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, and minimum of 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
* Secret Security Clearance (active in the past two years)
* Background in software development in OO/C++
* Demonstrated ability in all phases of software embedded development
* Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
* Software project management experience including scheduling, budgeting, cost account management
* Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
* Working knowledge of real-time embedded programming
* Agile Development experience
* Designing and/or implementing software algorithms Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
