Planet Fitness seeks a Fitness Trainer to operate our group fitness program.

As a Fitness Trainer, you will operate the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF).

• Creating a class schedule for members, including Orientation and DYOP (Develop your own program).
• Proactively engage with members on the club floor regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to safely use equipment.
• Promote our Judgement Free Zone® by connecting with members, offering assistance, and showing support during their fitness journeys while upholding club policies.
• Frequently perform a comprehensive walk of all fitness areas to ensure a great member experience and quickly address issues as they arise.
• Perform prospective member calls and tours, assessing membership needs and offering Trainer services.

• Greet members/guests as they enter/exit the club; assist with any questions or concerns.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries.
• Regularly clean and sanitize all exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities, including communal spaces and the assigned area.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, sanitized, stocked, and free of clutter following the routine cleaning schedule.

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment (preferred).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

• Continual standing and moving throughout the club during shift.
• Continual communication in person or on phone.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
• Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
• Moving in different positions, including bending and twisting, during tasks.
