Salary: $99,000 – $145,000 per year.

Open to internal and external candidates. The selected candidate may be required to work outside normal business hours (e.g., outage and application upgrades).

Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is the team selected by the U.S. Air Force to conduct Test and Operations Sustainment at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold Air Force Base in Tennessee. AEDC operates more than 55 advanced test units and is part of the Air Force Test Center. BNH supports the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts through integrated IT systems.

Job Summary

As the IT Business Operations Systems Lead, you will administer company IT systems to support business operations, oversee cybersecurity program, maintain Azure GCCH tenant, and manage day‑to‑day IT infrastructure and help desk operations. You will also develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals, ensure compliance with NIST SP 800‑171, CMMC, and DCAA audits, and coordinate with vendors and contractors.

Job Duties
  • Lead administration of BNH company IT systems in support of business operations.
  • Oversee the cadence of cybersecurity program, including NIST SP 800‑171 and CMMC certification.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of IT systems by managing help desk support and daily operations.
  • Maintain and configure company servers, networks, and other hardware and software.
  • Administer the BNH Microsoft Azure GCCH tenant.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies to align with business objectives, including new technology acquisition, policy creation, and budget management.
  • Implement disaster‑recovery plans and security measures to support business continuity.
  • Coordinate with third‑party vendors, manage contracts, and oversee related projects.
  • Report to the MIS Technical Director.
  • Participate on the Configuration Change Board (CCB).
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies and procedures for BNH systems.
  • Maintain processes for DCAA, CMMC, or other audits.
  • Support common work processes and procedures across the TOS contract.
  • Continuously evaluate processes and take actions to improve.
  • Follow safety rules and participate in safety activities.
  • Provide PPE as required.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Basic Qualifications
  • BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 8‑10 years of progressive, relevant experience (or equivalent combination).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance and AEDC local area network eligibility.
  • Current U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Government Azure GCCH or other cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency with Office 365, One Drive, SharePoint, Windows OS, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows OS workstation/server environments, device management, Intune, Identity & Access Management, MFA, patching, and Active Directory.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Bash, Power Shell, and Python.
  • Experience with NIST SP 800‑171 certification/assessments and DoD RMF.
  • Experience developing and maintaining System Security Plans.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
  • Skilled in oral and written communication.
