Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an IS&T Business Process Automation Developer, supporting TOS II at Arnold Air Force Base in Arnold, TN. The role is part of an integrated team responsible for operating, maintaining, and supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be a detail‑oriented individual who analyzes, designs, and implements solutions that streamline and improve business processes. The role requires a blend of business analysis, process improvement, and hands‑on technical implementation skills. The developer will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and leverage a dual‑platform approach—using BPLogix Process Director for complex, form‑driven workflows and Microsoft Power Automate for rapid system integrations and task automation—to create powerful and efficient solutions.

Job Duties
  • Lead the effort to gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into clear technical specifications and design solutions that leverage the best‑fit tool—either BPLogix Process Director or Power Automate.
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies; implement optimized solutions by building sophisticated forms and approval workflows in Process Director and creating automated flows and integrations with Power Automate.
  • Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives across Business Systems; monitor and refine automated processes on both platforms, leveraging feedback and performance metrics to enhance usability and drive efficiency, applying Agile and Six Sigma lean methodologies where appropriate.
  • Manage and facilitate cross‑functional teams—including contractors, AF/DOD personnel, and customers—to deliver business process automation projects on time; coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring clear communication and successful outcomes.
  • Wear company‑issued PPE in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Basic Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and progressive experience.
  • Automation experience may be substituted with other relevant IT experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage and facilitate projects with diverse, cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience working within Government, Military, or large‑scale environments.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and the AEDC local area network.
  • Current U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience with one or more workflow automation platforms, especially BPLogix Process Director and/or Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Skilled in oral and written communication.
  • Knowledge of and experience implementing Agile and/or Six Sigma lean methodologies.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining personnel and customer relationships.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain an active DoD security clearance.
