EDI Coordinator – Manchester, TN
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | $16.97/hr
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | $17.97/hr

ResourceMFG is hiring EDI Coordinators for a leading automotive manufacturing facility in Manchester, TN. This position supports daily shipping and logistics operations while serving as a key point of contact for internal departments, customers, OEMs, carriers, and over-the-road drivers. Candidates with logistics, customer service, shipping, administrative, or data entry experience are encouraged to apply. EDI experience is preferred but not required.

Training is available for candidates with strong communication, computer, and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) communications and transmit Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASNs) to customers.
• Receive, review, and organize customer shipping schedules.
• Print shipping schedules, master schedules, labels, and required shipping documentation.
• Verify shipment accuracy and prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Maintain accurate records and shipping data.
• Communicate shipment status updates to customers and internal teams by phone and email.
• Provide excellent customer service while working with drivers, carriers, customers, and plant personnel.
• Support company quality and environmental standards.
• Assist with additional logistics and shipping duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in logistics, shipping, customer service, administration, inventory, or EDI preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
