Production Technician - RMA

Who we are…

Ravago is a manufacturing company that produces a wide range of plastic and rubber materials, from high-performance engineered resins to recycled post-consumer materials. We are seeking a 2nd Shift Production Technician to lead the safe and efficient production of quality materials that meet customer requirements.

About the position:

• Work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Follow all Quality, Safety & Environmental Procedures.
• Move, load, and package raw and finished goods.
• Forklift experience (preferred but not required).
• Complete box sheets accurately with box numbers, finished end temperatures, correct weights, and indicate whether the box is “Conforming” or “Non-Conforming”.
• Ensure correct labeling of boxes – Product , weights, and other customer requirements.
• Retrieve quality samples from each box for inspections and place on the quality board.
• Perform changeovers between products, ensuring no contamination.
• Use an overhead crane to transfer blending totes to the extruder.
• Uphold Ravago’s Code of Conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly communicate verbally, read, comprehend, and type as needed.
• Lift and carry up to 55 lbs regularly.
• Reach with hands and arms repeatedly.
• Climb ladders with straight inclines.
• Use fingers and hands for packaging and writing.
• Must have color vision.
