My client in Manchester is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Audit Semi-Senior with (ideally) over 18 months of experience in audit to join one of their dynamic teams.

What you will be doing as an Audit Semi Senior

• Audit Planning:
  Actively involved in the planning phase of audits, including risk assessment, materiality calculation, and designing audit strategies.
• Fieldwork Execution:
  Participate in on-site audit fieldwork, conducting substantive testing, analytical review, and ensuring compliance with audit standards.
• Audit Completion:
  Assist in the completion stage, including preparing audit reports, discussing findings with clients, and ensuring all audit documentation is accurate and complete.
• Client Interaction:
  Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, providing excellent service and understanding their unique needs.
• Team
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with senior auditors and managers, contributing to team success and sharing knowledge with junior team members.

What you'll need to succeed

• Ideally you will have a minimum of 18 months audit experience in practice.
• Actively studying towards ACA or ACCA qualification with a strong exam record to date.
• Strong technical knowledge of audit processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.
