Accounts Payable Assistant

Pay: 27,500. per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Manchester (Greater Manchester)

We are seeking a meticulous and organised A
ccounts Payable Officer to join our clients finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting software and data entry, looking to contribute to efficient financial operations within a dynamic organisation.

• Ensure all payments are made accurately and within agreed deadlines
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly
• Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions and payments
• Collaborate with the human resources department on vendor-related documentation and compliance issues
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable
• Support internal audits by providing relevant documentation and analysis

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
• Proficiency in data entry with excellent attention to detail
• Analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently
• Ability to interpret financial data and produce clear reports for management
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Good communication skills for liaising across departments and external vendors
