Position: Bookkeeper - Arts Sector
My client a specialist art retailer based in Central London is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part
-time Bookkeeper to join their small and friendly team for 3 days a week. This role is central to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of their financial records and supporting the day-to-day operation of the Finance function. Day to Day responsibilities:
Process sales invoices from the Company's in-house systems into Sage accounting software. Enter, maintain, and reconcile purchase invoices accurately. Prepare and manage bi-weekly supplier payment runs. Reconcile receipts from credit card providers and online payment platforms. Manage company credit card transactions and employee expense claims. Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers. Monitor outstanding customer balances and assist with credit control activities.

Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies promptly. Process and reconcile petty cash transactions. Reconcile financial information between Sage and internal systems. Assist the Financial Controller with month-end procedures, reconciliations, management accounts, and other financial reporting requirements. Support the wider finance function with ad hoc accounting and reporting tasks as required.

About you:

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance role. Looking only for part - time work Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
