MCR Property Group is a leading independent real estate investment and development company, operating nationally with offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Glasgow. • Assist with preparation of year end accounts and reports
• Sole preparation of monthly management accounts, with overhead analysis and reporting
• Regular balance sheet reconciliations
• Intercompany accounting and reconciliation, along with posting monthly PAYE journals
• Maintaining fixed asset register
• Cost tracking and providing variable analysis on a monthly basis
• Overseeing the VAT and CIS returns and submissions, carried out by our finance assistant and purchase ledger
• Close monitoring and assistance with query and supplier resolutions
• Overseeing accounts payable and finalise monthly payment runs
• Carry out monthly departmental audits and reviews
• Supporting the finance manager and wider team as required

• Skilled in Management Accounting
• Inter Company Accounting
• Skilled in VAT and CIS returns
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Part-qualified or qualified CIMA/ACCA preferred; however, candidates with significant relevant accounting and finance experience will also be considered
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt your messaging for different audiences
• A basic understanding of the structure and purpose of financial reports
• A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to support and coordinate multiple project
• A strong sense of ownership, with the ability to independently manage tasks and take the lead on briefs when required.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience in construction industry and an understanding of CIS preferred

• Salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum (DOE)
