Job Title Audit Assistant Manager Location Manchester Salary £45,000 - £53,000 A client of ours, a well-established and widely recognised firm in Manchester are looking for newly or recently qualified Auditors to take on an Assistant Manager role within their corporate audit team. You will start to take on your own client portfolio, working closely with the senior Partners of the firm.

Clients will range from smaller, start-up type businesses, to SME's and larger listed groups. You will use your experience gained in IFRS and FRS 102 in a previous role. There is clear progression on offer, once you are established with your own portfolio, you will look to become a Manager within the firm in the future. Details of the role Leading sizeable audits from planning through to completion Managing juniors on the job, training and providing any feedback to help them improve Liaising with the clients on a regular basis, building long-lasting relationships Having difficult conversations with clients to ensure all documents are received in a timely manner Starting to work with budgeting for each job Beginning to take on your own client portfolio to manage Working on IFRS and FRS 102 reporting standards What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA (or equivalent) Firm is willing to consider finalists, that they can bring in at the slightly lower grade

Experience of working in a predominantly audit focused position
