Position: Assistant Accountant (Xero experience)
Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a highly established and well-respected professional services organisation with a strong reputation within its sector. As the business continues to grow, they are expanding their finance function and have created a new Assistant Accountant position to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly developing finance function where you can make the role your own while gaining broad exposure across bookkeeping, reconciliations, journals and financial reporting.

Working closely with experienced finance professionals, you'll have the opportunity to strengthen your accounting skills, develop specialist knowledge and play an important role as the finance team continues to grow. Skills Needed Strong understanding of core accounting processes, including bookkeeping, journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting. Compulsory experience using Xero , with confidence navigating accounting systems and finance software. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.

A stable employment history demonstrating longevity and commitment within previous roles, alongside a willingness to develop knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and legal finance procedures through supportive training.
