Accountant​/Senior Bookkeeper

Position: Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper
Your new company You will work for an established international modelling agency that represents models, helping them secure work in fashion, commercial, and media; managing contracts, bookings, and career development. You will work from their central London office 5 days per week (Mon-Fri). Your new role Due to the finance function being brought in-house, this is a busy, varied and challenging role in which you will assume end-to-end finance responsibilities including (but not limited to):
Accounts Payable including processing supplier invoices, preparation and execution of payment runs, processing weekly expenses. Accounts Receivable, including raising sales invoices, chasing payment Preparation of weekly agency accounts Liaison with models and mother agencies to investigate and resolve queries. Producing and providing accounting information for VAT and year-end Foreign Entertainers Unit (FEU) withholding tax returns Updating bank movements Updating suspense account(s) Year-end accounting Providing support to auditors and year-end audits  This role is a full-time permanent position, 9:30am-6pm Mon-Fri, 5 days in office (hybrid working is not available)  What you'll need to succeed Foreign Entertainers Unit (FEU) withholding tax returns (essential) Previous experience working for a modelling agency, talent agency, entertainment business or accountancy practice which services creative clients (essential) Sage Line 50 (desirable, not essential) Strong Excel competency (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) Ability to manage high volume transactions What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
