Audit Manager | Croydon | to £65,000 Hybrid Working | Great long term prospects Join a highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants, servicing clients primarily across Surrey, South West London and Central London, working with owner-managed businesses, charities and LLPs across a broad range of sectors. As an Audit Manager, you will take ownership of a varied audit portfolio, leading engagements from planning through to completion while acting as the key point of contact for clients.

You'll work with businesses ranging from growing SMEs to organisations with turnovers exceeding £50 million. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious audit professional looking to develop their leadership skills within a supportive and well-established practice. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage statutory audits from planning through to completion (approximately 90% of the role) Review audit files, ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards and Clarity ISAs Manage audit budgets, timelines and engagement delivery Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the audit process Identify audit issues and provide practical, commercial recommendations Supervise, coach and develop junior members of the audit team Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development opportunities Assist with statutory accounts preparation and other compliance work where required (approximately 10% of the role) About You ACA or ACCA qualified Strong external audit experience within UK practice Proven experience leading audits through to completion Up-to-date technical knowledge, including Clarity ISAs and UK GAAP Experience supervising and developing junior team members Commercially minded with excellent communication and client relationship skills Self-motivated, organised and able to manage multiple deadlines Next Steps:
