Assistant Accountant

We are recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a full-time temporary assignment in Brimpton Common. This office-based role is expected to last between one and three months and offers an hourly rate of £19.50-£20.50. The role You will provide practical support across day-to-day accounting activities, helping to keep financial records accurate and routine processes on schedule. Key responsibilities
• Complete bank and credit-card account reconciliations.
• Record supplier invoices and credit applications in Sage.
• Prepare supplier payment-run information and process monthly statements.
• Maintain the fixed asset register.
• Support monthly and quarterly ONS survey submissions.
• Assist with VAT returns and year-end accounting work. This is a hands-on temporary opportunity for someone who can contribute across a varied accounting workload in an office-based environment. Please apply online for consideration.
