Management Accountant

Management Accountant - An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or Part Qualified Management Accountant to join a fast-growing, multi-site healthcare business. Working within a growing finance team, you will take responsibility for the management accounts for a portfolio of sites, acting as a key finance contact and providing financial insight and support to operational stakeholders.

Key tasks include Manage day-to-day accounting across a portfolio of entities. Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations. Analyse revenue, payroll, EBITDA, margins and other key KPIs. Provide clear financial analysis, commentary and variance reporting. Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts. Maintain strong financial controls and support VAT, payroll and audit requirements. Manage reconciliations, journals, AP/AR and month-end processes.

Support the integration of newly acquired businesses and improve finance processes and controls. Business partner with non-finance stakeholders, providing guidance and commercial insight. About You Experience working within an accountancy practice or multi-entity environment ideally, managing a portfolio of clients or entities across bookkeeping and management accounting activities ACA, CIMA or ACCA (Qualified or Part Qualified), with a commitment to continued professional development Strong working knowledge of accounting systems, with experience using Excel and other financial reporting tools, or a willingness and ability to quickly learn new systems Strong technical accounting knowledge, with hands-on experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, journals, month-end processes and preparation of management account Excellent attention to detail, with strong organisational and time-management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple entities Strong communication & business partnering skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly and confidently to non-finance stakeholders Proactive and commercially minded, with the confidence to challenge where appropriate and identify opportunities to improve financial performance, processes and controls The company offers a discretionary bonus, private medical insurance, 25 days' holiday  bank holidays and 5% matched pension.
