Position: Purchase ledger clerk for freight
We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing freight business for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of the freight industry and is confident managing high-volume purchase ledger processes. The role will include:
Processing and matching a high volume of supplier invoices Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies Preparing and processing supplier payments Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong relationships Ensuring the purchase ledger is accurate and up to date Supporting the wider finance team when required We’re looking for someone who has:
Solid Purchase Ledger experience Previous experience working within freight, logistics or transport Hands-on experience using Sage and Boxtop Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines A proactive approach and the confidence to work in a busy environment
