Assistant Accountant

A great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to join a growing finance team during a significant period of organisational development. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll support accurate financial reporting and day-to-day operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Banking, and month-end accounting — with study support provided for your ongoing qualification.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journals, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end/year-end close Maintain accurate records and support internal/external audit requirements Identify and support improvements to finance processes and systems Assist with month end reporting Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and support cash flow monitoring About You Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent), actively studying Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role Solid understanding of general accounting principles Strong Excel skills and experience with finance systems Organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with good communication skills Send your CV now.
