Assistant Management Accountant Taunton, Somerset £30,000 - £35,000  Study Support Available Full-Time Butler Rose is delighted to be partnering with a growing and well-established organisation in Somerset to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who is studying towards a professional accounting qualification, or looking to make their first move from practice into industry.

Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end management accounts. Prepare and post journals, accruals and prepayments. Analyse financial data and support reporting activities. Reconcile balance sheet accounts. Maintain fixed asset registers. Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Support payroll processing where required. Produce ad hoc financial analysis and reports. Contribute to process improvements and finance projects.

Work closely with the wider finance team to support business objectives. About You Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or actively studying towards qualification.

Experience with in a similar accounting role, or looking to make a first move from accountancy practice. Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals. Experience preparing management accounts. Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting software. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Proactive approach and willingness to learn. What's on Offer? Salary of £30,000 - £35,000. Study support for the right candidate.
