Shared Services Administrator [Data Changes]

    Band 6 £ 24,479.00 per annum
  • Hours:

    Full time – 35 hours per week
  • Contract Type:
    Permanent
  • Location:

    Manchester (Square One), Hybrid working 3 days a week in office location.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver a right‑first‑time administration service focused on data changes, including setting up new starters, leavers, and promotions to ensure employees are paid correctly and accurately.
  • Ensure quality administrative outputs to prevent rework and maintain data compliance.
  • Consistently apply administrative duties, updating employee records and personal information as required.
  • Take personal ownership for allocated activities, collaborate to achieve team key performance indicators.
  • Operate within the pre‑agreed control framework, reviewing adherence and implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Develop and continually improve relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a customer‑centric approach.
  • Support the Network Rail Better Day Everyday initiative by identifying areas for improvement in daily & weekly focus groups.
  • Foster a culture of operational responsibility, promoting personal ownership for delivery.
