Position: Legal Receptionist (Permanent)
Legal Receptionist, Manchester City Centre Based.

Mon to Fri, 8.45am to 5.15pm (1 hour lunch each day)

Up to £25,000 DOE.

A leading, award-winning legal firm are looking for an exceptional front‑of‑house professional. This is a genuinely important role at the heart of a busy legal practice — perfect for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys being the go‑to person, and brings energy, polish, and professionalism to everything they do.

Responsibilities

* Managing a busy switchboard with confidence and clarity

* Welcoming clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism

* Organising and preparing meeting rooms to a high standard

* Ordering refreshments and ensuring meeting hospitality runs smoothly

* Arranging UK travel for colleagues, including booking hotels and transport

* Keeping the flow of the office running smoothly and spotting issues before they arise

* Supporting colleagues with wider day‑to‑day administrative tasks

* Handling post, deliveries, and general office coordination

* Maintaining a smart, organised, and inviting reception area

Desirables

• Professional presence - suited, confident, and client‑ready

• Able to bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to a busy environment

• Clear and warm communication skills, both in person and on the telephone

• Naturally organised, observant, and proactive – we are looking for someone who notices the small things!

• Can juggle multiple tasks without losing their calm or their smile

• Enjoys being at the centre of the action and keeping everything running smoothly

• Previous reception or administrative experience (legal experience helpful but not essential)
