Role: Bid Coordinator
Location: Manchester (Hybrid, 2 days in office)
We're looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Bid Coordinator to join our Manchester team. If you enjoy bringing structure to busy environments, supporting others, and taking ownership of detailed tasks, this could be a great next step for you.
You'll play a key role in supporting the Bids Team, helping keep our bids on track from opportunity identification through to submission. Full training and guidance will be provided, so if you're someone who is curious, eager to learn and confident asking questions, you'll thrive here.
What you'll be doing:Opportunity & Inbox Management
- Manage the Bid Team inbox and ensure opportunities are identified and allocated promptly.
- Set up opportunity folders, gather documents and maintain portal access.
Portal & Document Administration
- Keep tender portals updated and maintain accurate company information.
- Manage structured filing, naming conventions and the bid library.
Pipeline & Reporting
- Maintain the bid tracker and update success rates.
- Produce monthly management reports for senior stakeholders.
Bid Lifecycle Support
- Download and distribute tender documents.
- Complete standard templates, SQs and RFIs.
- Share tender clarifications and support the creation of visually polished proposals.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and consistency.
Research & Insight
- Research clients and competitors to support bid strategies.
- Work with internal teams to gather content and information.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Clear, confident written communication and proofreading ability.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good Microsoft Office skills;
Excel and SharePoint experience helpful but not essential. - A positive, proactive and supportive approach to teamwork.
- Someone who is eager to learn and comfortable asking questions.
You might come from an administrative, coordination or customer-facing background. You might be used to working under pressure or juggling multiple priorities. You don't need bid or recruitment experience; we're looking for someone with the right mindset, attitude and willingness to learn.
