Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Document Control to join the team at Galliford Try, ideally, you will be based in or around the North West of England and will have opportunity to travel to Sites in and around the North West Region.

What you will be doing
  • Support the design team ensuring all design information is controlled and maintained in a methodical manner and issued within set time scales.
  • Ensure company and project information management protocols and procedures are followed (including but not limited to the IMP and BEP).
  • Be communication liaison for the design and site teams including key documentation and handover information.
  • Build effective working relationships with all members of the site team, up to and including Director level.
  • Support the Viewpoint Champion for the project team.
  • Support the relevant Teams with the workflow process, RDD, RFI, Change Control and linking information to virtual containers within our CDE.
  • Manage the CDE i.e. creating internal and external document containers with CDE template or inviting and revoking internal and external users.
  • Manage registers and audit site records regularly to ensure compliance with our BMS processes and procedures.
  • Generate and issue reports to internal/external parties when required.
  • Support / Manage Field View for the project teams with uploading and calibrating drawings, inviting members, package creation, creating form distribution and on-going best practice management of the data with regular audits / reporting.
About You
  • Fully conversant with the Microsoft suite of packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other desktop publishing software packages.
  • Knowledge and experience of using Viewpoint for Projects is essential.
  • Knowledge and experience of using Viewpoint Field View is essential.
  • Able to demonstrate alignment and work in line with the Galliford Try values - Excellence, Passion, Integrity and Collaboration.
