Role OverviewThe Governors of this happy and successful school are looking to appoint an experienced administrator to provide additional support to the administrative team. The school office can be very busy and the successful candidate will need to be able to coordinate and manage their tasks to ensure completion within timescale. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good standards of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
Key Responsibilities- Welcoming visitors to school
- Communicating with parents, pupils and outside agencies, including answering general telephone and face‑to‑face enquiries
- Assisting with pupil first aid
- Undertaking routine clerical and administrative support
- Ability to relate well to children and adults
- Experience of general clerical and administrative work
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Willingness to undertake minor first aid training
- Good understanding of and ability to use relevant technology, e.g., a photocopier
- Keyboard and computer skills
