The Buyer’s Admin Assistant role reports to a Buyer/Senior Buyer, working together to deliver the best ranges for our customers. The role manages the administration of a given department ensuring all systems are kept up to date, delivering a profitable customer‑centric range and providing day‑to‑day administrative support to the category.
A day in the life of a Buying Admin Assistant- Maintaining CP, communicating with suppliers regularly to ensure key deadlines are met and any delivery risks are highlighted in advance
- Regular CP calls to build supplier relationships
- Setting up new styles in our internal systems
- Providing administrative support to the Assistant buyer and the wider team
- Managing samples: organising and preparing them for shoots
- Carrying out online comparative shopping to develop and maintain knowledge of the current marketplace
- Assisting team meetings – helping prepare for monthly reviews and sign‑offs
- Prepping for fit sessions
- Additional ad‑hoc tasks
- Ability to work on your own initiative in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong team ethos – collaborating, building excellent relationships and communicating confidently with peers and suppliers
- Ability to work well in a team while striving on individual tasks
- Highly organised with excellent time‑keeping skills
- PC and Excel literacy
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A passion for clothing
- Hybrid working – 3 days in the office at a minimum
