We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Admin and Finance Officer to join our fantastic team at Piper Hill High School.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Admin & Finance Officer to join our dedicated team and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our school’s administrative and financial operations.
This is a Grade 4, permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £22,710 and the full time equivalent is £26,403.
ResponsibilitiesThis is a varied and rewarding role where your attention to detail and ability to multitask will make a real impact. Reporting to the School Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Processing invoices, raising payments, and liaising with suppliers
- Managing petty cash and banking procedures
- Supporting financial reporting and ensuring compliance with school financial regulations
- Providing high-quality administrative support including word processing, diary management, and meeting coordination
- Maintaining accurate manual and digital records and producing reports
- Supporting pupil welfare, including first aid and liaising with parents
- Acting as a first point of contact at reception and handling enquiries professionally
- Assisting with school events, travel arrangements, and general office duties
