Due to the location, you must be a driver with your own vehicle About the Role My client is a true leader in their field and has been trading for over 10 years with year-on-year growth over this time. They are now looking for a highly organised Operations Coordinator to join their friendly office team and play a central role in keeping their service running smoothly.
The Opportunity This is a pivotal position acting as the link between clients and field personnel. You will take full ownership of scheduling activities — from initial enquiry through to completed appointment — ensuring efficient diary management and excellent customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering a seamless, well-structured operation.
Key Responsibilities Client Liaison Act as first point of contact via phone and email, delivering a professional and responsive service Manage booking enquiries, reschedules and general queries Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including proactive management of repeat/annual bookings Handle last-minute changes and resolve scheduling issues with minimal disruption Scheduling & Coordination Plan and manage field diaries, balancing client needs with operational efficiency Organise appointments geographically to optimise travel and productivity Confirm bookings with both clients and field staff Monitor schedules to identify and resolve gaps, clashes or inefficiencies Operations & Administration Maintain accurate client and job records within a CRM system Coordinate documentation flow including job sheets and certificates Support timely delivery of service documentation to clients Identify and escalate operational improvements where appropriate Skills & Experience Essential Proven experience in scheduling, coordination, or diary management (e.g. field service, logistics, healthcare or similar) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail Confident using systems and software (CRM or scheduling tools) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Calm, solution-focused approach under pressure Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a small team
