Insurance & Accounts Administrator (Full-Time)
Location:
25 Barnes Wallis Road, Segensworth, PO15 5TT
Hours:
Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9-5pm (office-based)
Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 dependent on experience
We are a growing insurance brokerage based in Segensworth and are looking for a reliable, organised, and proactive Insurance & Accounts Administrator to join our team.
This is a varied and rewarding office-based role that combines insurance administration, accounts support, and general office duties. Working closely with our Commercial Brokers, Directors, insurers, clients, and finance partners, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business and helping us deliver excellent service.
Key Responsibilities Insurance Administration- Providing administrative support to the Commercial Broking team and Directors
- Assisting the sales team with policy administration and processing
- Liaising with insurers, clients, and other stakeholders
- Producing and maintaining insurance compliance reports
- Conducting file audits and ensuring records are accurate and up to date
- Managing and distributing incoming telephone calls
- Supporting general office administration duties as required
- Banking and allocating client money
- Chasing outstanding invoices and payments
- Assisting with client account reconciliations
- Producing reports and account information
- Processing client refunds
- Liaising with insurers, networks, and finance providers
- Providing administrative support to the accounts function
- Previous administration experience is essential
- Accounts or bookkeeping experience would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Able to prioritise workload and work effectively in a busy office environment
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Insurance experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate
