Overview We are recruiting for a Temporary Marketing Assistant to support a Government organisation based in Manchester City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised marketing professional looking for a flexible part-time assignment. The successful candidate will provide support across a range of marketing activities, with a particular focus on market research surrounding women's health and wider lifestyle-related projects.
The role will also involve assisting with the planning and delivery of events and stakeholder engagement activities. Full training will be provided on-site.

Mid-August 2026 to End of November 2026 (Approx.)
Hours:
2 Days per Week - (on site) To be agreed at interview - 9am to 1700pm with 45 min lunch Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour Sector:

Key Responsibilities Conduct market research and gather insights relating to women's health and lifestyle's and other topics Support the planning, organisation and delivery of events. Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials. Update and maintain content across digital platforms. Support social media activity, particularly through Linked In. Create engaging presentations and marketing collateral using Canva and PowerPoint. Compile reports, research findings and administrative documentation.
Maintain accurate records and databases. Provide general administrative support to the wider team. Skills and Experience Required Previous experience in a marketing, communications or events support role. Experience supporting the organisation and delivery of events. Strong research and analytical skills. Proficient in:
Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft PowerPoint Canva Linked In Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Additional Requirements A DBS check will be required for this position. Ability to attend training and work on-site in Manchester City Centre. Available to commit from mid-August through to the end of November.
