We're supporting an established Manchester business as they look to add a Customer Service & Sales Support Administrator to their team. This is a varied office-based position combining customer service, sales support and administration. You'll be responsible for looking after customer requirements from initial enquiry through to delivery, whilst also supporting the wider sales team with day-to-day administration. The Opportunity Working closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues across the business, your responsibilities will include:
Managing customer orders from receipt through to completion Responding to customer queries and providing updates on orders and deliveries Preparing and processing invoices Coordinating deliveries, courier bookings and pallet movements Working with suppliers to arrange stock and product requirements Maintaining accurate customer and order information Assisting with stock management and purchasing activities Supporting the sales team with general administration Helping to ensure customers receive a smooth and efficient service What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys a varied role and is comfortable dealing with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
Your background could be in Customer Service, Sales Support, Order Management, Sales Administration, Office Administration or a similar environment. You'll ideally have:
Experience using Sage 50 or Sage 200 Previous experience working with customer orders or sales administration Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook The ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines A proactive and dependable approach A friendly and professional manner when dealing with customers About the Business The company is a growing Manchester-based supplier specialising in printing, labelling and data capture solutions.
They work with customers across a range of industries including logistics, manufacturing, healthcare and retail, supplying everything from printers and scanners through to labelling equipment and associated products. You'll be joining a close-knit team where there's plenty of variety to the role. It's a good opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved across different areas rather than being restricted to one particular function.
Package Salary: £29,000 - £32,000
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm Holiday: 24 days plus bank holidays
