We have a rare opportunity for an Deputy Reception Team Leader to join our team at The Robert Darbishire Practice (RDP), which isone of 3 practices operated by Better Health MCR. The Robert Darbishire Practice has two sites: the largest is in Rusholme Health Centre and there is a branch at The University of Manchester, in Crawford House on Booth Street East.
The Robert Darbishire Practice is one of the largest GP practices in Greater Manchester and as Deputy Reception Team Leader you will play a pivotal role inits day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the service received by our patients reflects our core values of care and curiosity to deliver high standards of customer service.

Main duties of the jobThe Deputy Reception Team Leader is responsible for assisting the Reception Team Leader in the management of the reception team ofThe Robert Darbishire Practice, including the University GP Service Branch.
They will support the Reception Team Leader in the day-to-day team operations to ensure the smooth operation of the reception service. They will help toensure that the reception team are well-trained, supported and well-organised so that they provide an efficient and effective service to our patients and clinicians, offering the highest level of customer service.
The postholder works with the Office Manager and Reception Team Leader to ensure the achievement of our aims and objectives andthe efficient, effective and financially-sustainable running of the service asa whole. In particular, the postholder must ensure that we deliver aresponsive, patient-centred reception service, which reflects our core valuesof care and curiosity.
Thepostholder will also be required to work as part of the Reception Team toprovide the practices front-of-house service, including welcoming patient sand visitors, understanding and interpreting patients needs, resolving queries where possible or signposting patients to the appropriate service or appointment.

The post is full time (37.5 hours per week) and willbe mostly based at The Robert Darbishire Practice in Rusholme Health Centre, although you willneed to be able to travel to our other sites if needed. The usual working hoursare 10:00-18:30, Monday to Friday.
Salary will be inthe range £27,581 to £30,827 depending on experience (pro rata to full time of 37.5 hours per week). Weoffer membership of the NHS Pension Scheme and 5.4-6.6 weeks' holiday (depending on NHS service) plus bank holidays (pro rata). [The post is not subject to Agenda for Change terms and conditions.]
