Business Development Associate – Asset Finance

Our client is a well established and respected provider of asset finance solutions within the UK market.

They have a newly created role for a Business Development Associate to join their specialist lending team in Manchester – the team deal with larger, more structured and complex transactions.

You will be responsible for supporting the Business Development Directors (BDDs) in managing broker relationships and executing transactions.

This role provides a structured development pathway for individuals aspiring to become BDDs, offering hands-on experience in credit analysis, deal structuring, and stakeholder engagement, while working on complex, high-value transactions within the middle-ticket market (ranging from £500k-5M).

You will work closely with BDDs to triage broker proposals, prepare credit submissions, and manage the administrative and operational aspects of transactions. The role is ideal for a commercially aware individual with strong organisational skills, a keen interest, and some experience in asset finance, and a desire to grow into a senior client-facing role.
