Position: Sales Manager (Permanent)
Sales Manager - Manchester City Centre

Salary: £45,000 (negotiable) + team override commission

Reporting to:
Director

About the Role

A high‑growth recruitment business in Manchester City Centre is looking for a Sales Manager to lead its new business function. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, knows how to build a winning sales culture, and has a proven track record of driving revenue through BDM and SDR teams.

What You'll Be Doing

- Developing the sales strategy, sector focus, and revenue plan

- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of BDMs and SDRs

- Monitoring performance, activity levels, and pipeline discipline

- Setting pricing strategy and approving commercial agreements

- Owning forecasting and ensuring accurate reporting

- Working closely with operations to build scalable delivery models

Targets & KPIs

- Team New Business Revenue: £100,000 per month

- Strategic Accounts: 2-3 wins per quarter

- Activity Compliance: ≥ 90%

- Forecast Accuracy: ≥ 85%

- Average Margin: ≥ 18%

- Ramp Time:
New hires productive within 8 weeks

What You'll Bring

- 5+ years' recruitment sales experience, including leadership

- A strong track record of hitting and exceeding new business targets

- Commercial acumen and confident negotiation skills

- Ability to build, motivate, and scale a high‑performing team

Commission & Bonus Structure

- Quarterly bonus tied to team revenue and margin performance

- 3-5% override on revenue generated above team target

- Additional +1% override on revenue from strategic accounts
