Account Lead - Data Centres (Technology, Consulting & Engineering Services)

We are looking for a talented, Data Centre (DC) industry experienced growth professional to join our market‑leading Technology Sector team as an Account Lead. This new role has been created to help accelerate our growth further and faster, in response to increasing DC demand, by increasing team capability, capacity and established market connections.
As an Account Lead, you will take ownership for growing a stable portfolio of existing and new DC client accounts, providing the opportunity to support hyperscale, developer‑operator and colocation clients – key accountabilities include:
- Delivering profitable and stable account growth across the UK, Europe and potentially globally, aligned to each client’s specific needs.
- Establishing and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with existing and new clients, securing our position as a trusted partner.
- Achieving exceptional client experience and positive outcomes across all aspects and locations of each portfolio client’s business.
- Develop and implement cross‑regional/global account strategies, aligned with Arcadis' market sector strategies and each client’s diverse business needs.
- Translate account strategies into actionable annual and multi‑year account plans with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Ensure alignment across geographies, solutions and teams to deliver consistent value to the client.
- Drive commercial growth in bookings and margin against annual targets.
- Expand Arcadis’ relationships across the client’s operations and key stakeholders across client locations.
- Create and share market insight, trends and thought leadership to support client relationship building and positioning.
- Generate client opportunities through regular engagement, innovation and collaboration with client teams.
- Direct and lead pursuits, maintaining an above‑target win ratio.
- Collaborate with Arcadis Solutions teams to create differentiated service offerings and value propositions tailored to the client’s needs.
- Prioritize client experience (CX) at every interaction, ensuring the client receives exceptional service and innovation.
- Develop and implement pursuit strategies for key opportunities with the client.
- Actively contribute to a positive, growth‑oriented culture within the account team, emphasizing accountability and collaboration.
- Inspire multidisciplinary teams, aligning them around shared account objectives and supporting their professional growth.
- Mobilize talent across geographies and sectors to maximize impact, leveraging diverse perspectives and expertise.
- Collaborate with peers within Arcadis’ global sector teams to identify synergies and drive impactful initiatives.
- Position Arcadis as a thought leader in the client’s sector, leveraging innovation, data and sustainability practices.
- Support marketing strategies (campaigns, events) to amplify Arcadis’ impact with the client.
- Relevant Engineering, Technical or Business Degree.
- A background in design, engineering and program delivery consultancy services within the built asset context is essential.
- Experience in a DC / Technology Sector growth role, looking for a senior strategic leader within a modern, inclusive and agile global consultancy.
- Deep Data Centre industry understanding, built through strong experience, coupled with proven growth and business development capability.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing sales strategies to grow regional / global client accounts profitably.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration across diverse geographies and functions.
- Ambitious mindset with a drive to meet and exceed business targets.
- Entrepreneurial attitude with strong commercial acumen and strategic focus.
