Salary: £76,034 per annum to £84,208 per annum (London weighted salary) or £66,380 per annum to £74,105 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience.
* Plus Essential Car User Allowance £1,300

Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Join us as Head of Procurement – Property & Investment, a pivotal leadership role driving procurement excellence across one of the UK’s most ambitious property portfolios. We’re looking for a commercially astute leader to embed and execute our Group Supply Chain framework, ensuring compliance, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your expertise will directly impact how we deliver landlord services, asset management, and development outcomes.
This role reports to the Commercial Director and sits within the Property & Investment directorate, working closely with our central Supply Chain ‘hub’ and Technology ‘spoke’ teams. Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Procurement & Buying team within Property & Investment, ensuring high performance and alignment with the Group Supply Chain framework.
- Execute procurement strategies that support landlord services, asset management, and development, with a focus on value for money and compliance.
- Drive category management and supply chain optimisation to meet operational and financial goals.
- Ensure governance and risk management, maintaining compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards.

Commercial Director. - Works closely with:
The Supply Chain ‘hub’ (central team) and Technology ‘spoke’. - Operations teams in Property & Investment and Customer Services.
- External suppliers to negotiate and manage contracts.
- Collaborates with:
Corporate Services and other internal stakeholders to align procurement with strategic objectives.
- Delivers procurement outcomes that support a £900m annual buying pipeline.
- Improves supply chain performance through data‑driven insights and continuous improvement.
- Supports financial efficiency by embedding category management and optimising supplier relationships.
- Enables compliance and assurance, contributing to robust governance and risk mitigation across the department.
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g. CIPS or equivalent).
- Advanced Practitioner status for the Procurement Act 2023.
- Substantial experience in procurement, supply chain management, or buying, particularly in operational delivery.
- Strong background in public sector procurement, including compliance with relevant regulations.
- Proven experience in contract and supplier relationship management.
- Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen in managing large‑scale procurement pipelines.
- Experience in the social housing sector (Desirable).
