We're looking for a senior manager with experience in designing and executing product and proposition strategies, who can innovate to reimagine loans and drive commercial growth. We want our future propositions to be bold so you'll need to be creative, transformational and be comfortable to proactively work with stakeholders across the Group to evolve and develop our future propositions.

Day to day you'll be;
  • Defining and supporting the delivery of a six-year strategic roadmap to grow the Loans business aligned with LBG's broader commercial objectives.
  • Building the investment case and growth plans for Loans initiatives driving continued growth and transformation of the business in line with these plans. Proactively collaborating with the wider Loans product, pricing and platform teams.
  • Using market driven insights to develop a strong understanding of customer needs, technology enablers, market dynamics, regulatory developments, and competitor trends.
  • Making informed risk decisions to ensure products follow regulations such as Consumer Duty, while running risk and controls effectively.
  • Building strong relationships with the Loans Product and Platform teams who are responsible for product execution and ensure product strategies are executed to plan and within budget.
  • Leveraging AI capabilities and data to supercharge delivery, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous growth.
Deep Consumer Insight:

Ability to understand customer needs and behaviours and translate insights into compelling propositions and commercial outcomes.

Strategic Thinking & Commercial Acumen:

Skilled at shaping long‑term strategy for Loans, grounded in customer demand, market shifts and data‑driven analysis.

Transformation & Technology Leadership:

Experience driving digital and business transformation, leveraging platforms, data and AI to improve customer experience and operational performance.

Market, Competitor & Regulatory Awareness:

Strong understanding of the personal lending sector, emerging trends, customer behaviour and the regulatory landscape including Consumer Duty.

Data‑Led Decision Making:

Confident in making timely, evidence‑based decisions by assimilating complex information and balancing competing priorities.

Stakeholder Leadership &

Collaboration:

Exceptional communicator able to influence, partner and align effectively across product, pricing, platform and wider Group teams.

Retail Banking

Experience:

Understanding of retail lending, unsecured products or wider consumer‑banking operations.

Experience Shaping Strategy in a Loans or Credit Domain:

Ability to reimagine end‑to‑end propositions across the lending lifecycle, from origination to servicing.
