If you enjoy juggling multiple payrolls, building strong client relationships and making sure everyone gets paid correctly and on time (the real heroes of any business!), this could be the perfect role for you.

We’re working with a well-established payroll bureau based in South Manchester who are looking to add an experienced Payroll Administrator to their growing team.

The Role

Working within a busy bureau environment, you’ll be responsible for managing multiple client payrolls across a variety of sectors. Accuracy, organisation and excellent communication skills will be key.

Key responsibilities include:

* Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls from start to finish

* Calculating statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP etc.)

* Managing starters, leavers and payroll amendments

* Submitting RTI reports to HMRC

* Handling pension submissions and auto-enrolment

* Responding to client payroll queries in a professional and timely manner

* Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation

About You

* Previous experience in a payroll bureau or accountancy practice environment is highly desirable

* Strong end-to-end payroll processing experience

* Up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation

* Confident using payroll software (Sage, Bright Pay or similar)

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

* Able to manage multiple deadlines without breaking a sweat

A CIPP qualification (or working towards one) would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
