Location: Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds or London

Salary: Up to £35-45k DOE

Full time: 12 month Fixed term contract

Hybrid: 2 days in the office, 3 days wfh

We are looking for an experienced Bids Executive for a high profile Professional Services business. This position is part of our client’s 20+person BD team, offering real opportunities for development and growth. Working for a global professional services firm not only will you gain exceptional experience of Pursuits best practice and strategy but also excellent progression. You will be responsible for managing the production of practice group bids within their Property division.

Working closely with the Bids Manager and Bids Partners, you will lead opportunities and advise on best practices at all stages of the bidding process. You will coordinate the firm throughout the process, providing project management and creative oversight to ensure timely bid delivery. Although a 12 month FTC there is a strong possibility of the role going permanent.

The Role:
  • Manage the bids process from start to finish, ensuring effective project and bid management.
  • Contribute to our bid strategy by collaborating with the bids team to identify key themes and messages.
  • Work closely with Bid Managers on larger bids, providing essential support and coordination.
  • Take charge of managing the pre-qualification stages, including qualifying opportunities and guiding Partners and other stakeholders through this stage to produce complete responses.
  • Oversee content management by maintaining and enhancing pre-written content, guides, and other standard materials to expand and improve our automated content library.
  • Produce reports and analyses of bid activity to inform business decisions.
  • Participate in internal projects to improve the flow of bid information, analysis, and best practices within the firm.
Who are we looking for?
  • Proven experience managing bids and offering strategic advice on approach.
  • Experience in the legal or other professional services sectors.
  • Highly diligent with exceptional attention to detail.
