Location:

Manchester City Centre | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)

Working hours:

35 hours per week | Core hours 10am–3pm | Early finish Fridays

Overview:

We are a leading utilities infrastructure consultancy providing bespoke solutions across gas, electricity, water, and telecoms to domestic, commercial, and industrial clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our successful and expanding sales team.

The Role:

This is a target-driven, outbound sales role with a strong focus on:

  • High-volume cold calling to generate new business opportunities.
  • Managing and updating the CRM/database with accurate, timely information.
  • Following up on inbound enquiries and qualifying leads.
  • Building long-term relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Meeting and exceeding call volume, lead conversion, and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate leads through research, networking, and outbound calls.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective CRM management.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Consistently achieve agreed KPIs and activity levels.
Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, telesales, or outbound sales.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of calls daily.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • CRM/database management experience.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Industry experience in utilities or infrastructure is advantageous but not essential.
