About the Role
In this role you will lead and shape complex, large‑scale HR transformation programmes, translating operating model design ambition into actionable, enterprise‑wide change.
- Design and evolve the HR Operating Model client offering, ensuring it is modern, efficient and able to meet current and future workforce needs.
- Review and optimise end‑to‑end HR processes, identifying opportunities to improve service quality, clarity, governance and cross‑functional alignment.
- Lead diagnostic assessments and organisational design activities, using data and evidence‑based approaches to inform strategic decisions.
- Partner with HR, digital, finance and operational leaders to drive coherence across roles, capabilities, processes and technologies.
- Support the adoption of new ways of working, embedding continuous improvement, capability uplift and a culture of operational excellence across client organisations.
As part of your role you will also contribute to business development and your personal growth, through activities in the following categories:
- Business Development – Leading or contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution and client hosting at events.
- Internal Contribution – Campaign development, internal think‑tanks, white papers, practice development, offering development.
- Learning & Development – Training to support your career development, skills demand within the company and certifications.
- Strong HR transformation and operating model expertise, with experience designing future‑state structures, processes and governance within complex organisations.
- Skilled in data‑led analysis and problem solving, able to simplify complexity and translate insights into clear recommendations and actionable designs.
- Highly collaborative and influential, confident engaging senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops and building alignment across diverse teams.
- A proactive, delivery‑focused mindset, demonstrating sound judgement, adaptability and a passion for improving employee and service‑experience outcomes.
Optional:
Required certifications, licenses or languages.
- Currently working in a major consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a consulting background.
- Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
- Experience of proposition building and delivery.
