Business Development, Client Relationship Manager
Want to be part of a UK hub, in a global business that is scaling rapidly, evolving fast and radically changing the decades-old delivery universe? If so, read on, as we’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our Commercial team!
Our mission? To switch up the status quo and become the UK’s leading out-of-home business. With a fast-growing network of thousands of smart lockers, hundreds of leading retail partners and the launch of our transformative Send service, we’re bringing freedom to anyone with a parcel.
At InPost UK, we’re building an unparalleled group of talent that’s committed to help us power our mission to reshape the way parcels move, and redefine eCommerce logistics. Our team is packed full of top-notch experts in e-commerce, technology, scale‑up growth, sustainability, logistics and supply chain. We’re a passionate bunch with high ambition – we collaborate, innovate, support each other, and leave egos at the door.
About the role:InPost is transforming how the UK shops online — and we need a leader to own that story across a region. This isn't a desk job: you'll be in the field, building a team, chasing the biggest merchants, and making out-of-home delivery the default choice at checkout for retailers across your patch.
What you’ll be doing :- Lead the team
:
Recruit, coach, and develop a field-based team of Business Development Managers. Set targets, run performance reviews, build a culture people want to be part of — and make sure the right BDMs are chasing the right opportunities. - Drive the region
:
Own merchant acquisition, parcel volume, and revenue targets across your assigned UK region. Build the regional strategy, prioritise the highest-value prospects, and personally lead the most complex and commercially significant deals. - Shape the direction
:
Act as the senior commercial voice for your region — feeding merchant intelligence, market insight, and performance data back into the Head of New Business, Marketing, and Product to sharpen InPost's national go-to-market approach. - Full accountability for merchant acquisition, parcel volume, and revenue targets — ensuring your team consistently meets and exceeds agreed objectives.
- Personally lead the region's highest-value merchant relationships and most complex commercial deals, engaging at director and senior level.
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy — covering territory planning, prospect prioritisation, segment targeting, and channel approach.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop BDMs and Senior BDMs — building capability and maintaining a high-performance field sales culture.
- Set clear, measurable targets for each team member across merchant onboarding, volume, revenue, pipeline activity, and CRM hygiene.
- Maintain rigorous pipeline and forecasting discipline — providing the Head of New Business with accurate, timely, and insight-rich performance reports.
- Monitor the regional competitive landscape and e‑commerce ecosystem, feeding intelligence and recommendations into commercial planning.
- Work closely with Customer Success, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Marketing to ensure that sales commitments are operationally deliverable and clients are handed over smoothly.
We’re looking for people who are ready for a fast paced environment, get their kicks out of problem solving and can balance getting today’s stuff done, whilst building for the future. We’re looking for people with drive and natural curiosity – who want to do things differently. And do them brilliantly.
